I have been a fan of science fiction since I was a teenager. It was not that I thought that all of it was possible, but that it presented a platform of expression. What most of us in my generation failed to comprehend was the fallacy of much of science fiction. One of the most pervasive of areas of science fiction is found in our education system. That may surprise you. “What area is that?”, you may ask. The answer is, “Evolution, science fiction at its best.”
Educated or Indoctrinated?
If you grew up in the education system that I did, that may surprise you. We were taught that evolution was “real” science. Any other “science” was either religion or false science. But we were not being taught “science”, we were being indoctrinated. What do I mean by “indoctrinated”?
“Doctrine” is usually associated with religion or philosophy. In other words, it is not necessarily empiricle Typically, science is observable and repeatable. In other words it can be recorded by some means so that other individuals can repeat the experiment. That is real science.
As we turn our attention to evolution, what are the terms associated with its presentation?
Here is an example of “Evolution-Science Fiction” found in a scientific publication.
In a paper in Current Biology,1D. K. Hartline (U of Hawaii) and D. R. Colman (McGill U, Quebec)published in 2007, we read this:
Once such a process has started, it is not difficult to imaginea sequenceof small improvements driven by natural selectionthat would ultimatelylead to the complex structures we see today. This is speculative, however; no cases have been described so far of ‘intermediate stages’ in extant groups.Developmental sequences, the lack of fossil recordsand the paucity of candidate molecular precursorsso far identified have made the task more difficult. Perhapsbetter insightwill be gained through increased attention to myelin evolvedin the invertebrates.
Would NASA use this science?
Consider this. If NASA had used this as the “science” for sending men to the moon and back, how far would they have gotten? The odds are that they would never have gotten off the ground.
Suppose the rocket developers said something like the following. “It should not be to difficult to imagine that these rockets can lift the payload off the launch pad and get it into orbit. Then we will let the astronauts randomly choose the trajectory to get them headed toward the moon. Now, all this is speculative because we have run to tests that prove they can do this. If they fail, perhaps we shall gain better insight as to how to get to the moon.” Those people would be out of a job instantly. Why should we let evolutionary “scientists” keep their job when they do the same thing.
Evolution is science fiction
Evolution science fiction is just that. There is not one single empirical scientific fact that can support evolution. If that be true, why do we allow it to be taught as science? That is a very good question.
Why is evolution taught?
Let me present a very good reason for such a situation. The reason is that there is a war being waged. You ask, “What war are you talking about?” It is not a physical war in which guns are being shot or bombs are dropped or physical combat engaged. It is a war of motivating philosophies. A philosophy is a thing that gives purpose for one’s existence, or purpose in life.
There are only two possible choices when all things are considered. Of course, you can argue that there are more, but they all boil down to just two. The two choices are (1) humanistic materialism and (2) Biblical Creationism. Another approach may be stated as such: (1)Where did we come from and (2) Where are we going.
Humanistic materialism says that (1) we came from nothing and (2) we are going to nothing. People of this persuasion believe in the Big Bang and evolution. They caption themselves as atheist and enlightened. Everything is here by chance and accident. Whatever may appear as designed for a purpose is just an illusion. When your life ends, that is all.
Biblical creation is totally different. It states that (1) the earth and the universe and human beings were created by a benevolent Creator and has given them a purpose for existence. (2) When their life ends, there is an after-existence. We get to choose in this life where we spend the after-life.
The difference between the two is that one has design and purpose and the other relies on chance and accidents.
Would NASA choose E science?
Now, which science would you think that NASA will go with? Will they trust in chance and “lucky” accidents or will they rely on proven and repeatable science? The answer is obvious.
Yet, the educational system of this world has chose just such science to teach our children. Evolution and the Big Bang have no basis in empirical evidence. They are “pseudo sciences” concocted in the imaginations of people who rebel against their Creator.
You may question why people would want to rebel against their Creator. The original state was not such. But, because the Creator is a loving creator, He gave His highest creation a will. Along with that will, He gave the man a choice of whether to willfully honor and obey the Creator. You see, without a choice there can be no love. The Creator is love. Love is the highest expression of the Creator, so it was part of His highest creation. Because the Creator made man in His image, humans express love. They will express it toward their Creator or toward themselves. The highest expression of that love is when it is shown to another being. Jesus put it this way. “Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for another.”
Humankind chose to love himself rather than his Creator. The Creator gave this world and all of it to the stewardship of mankind. The only outward expression of Adam’s love for the Creator was found in one thing. That thing was Adam’s willingness to put the Creator first in his life. The way that was manifested was in his obedience to one desire of the Creator. That desire (or command as some might say) was that he not eat of one tree in the Garden of Eden. That tree was “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil”. We shall cover than in another blog.
Now, the Creator in love cautioned Adam that something bad would happen if he did eat of the tree. But, Adam, and Eve, listened to the serpent. He lied to them and told them that the Creator would never do what He said. Adam sided with the serpent and decided he was as good as the Creator. In other words, he loved himself as much or more than he loved the Creator.
It was only hours later that Adam found out that what the Creator said was true. The earth was cursed because of Adam’s sin of loving himself more than the Creator. Everyone of Adam’s descendants has been born infected with the disease of sin. Because of our kinship with Adam, we love our self more than any other.
It’s in our DNA
Ever since that time, human beings have naturally rebelled against our Creator. But, the Creator, Who is truly love, made a way of redeeming His highest creation. He did it through His only begotten Son. Mankind now has a way to come back to a right relation to his Creator. But, as always, the loving Creator allows His highest creation to choose. The Creator will not coerce His highest creation. His desire is that you love Him as He has loved you. But, the choice is yours.
Now, this is where humanistic materialism comes in. Humanists do not wish to love their Creator above themselves. Rather than admit their need of redemption, they just declare that there is no Creator. In essence they declare themselves as “god” of their own life. The Creator does not hate the humanist for this. By no means. Jesus paid the price for humanists just as He did for all human beings. But, since God gave man a free will, He does not condemn him for exercising it. But He does warn him of the consequences of wrong choices.
We make the same choice
Just as when Adam chose to eat of the forbidden tree and reaped the curses, so it is when we choose not to love our Creator. Just as Jesus said in John 3:18, “He that believes is not condemned, but he that believes not is condemned already.” Because of our descendance from Adam, we are in the family of those who choose to love self first. Each of us must actively choose to love our Creator more than we love self. The Creator is not looking for passive love. He desires an active love. It is the kind of love He expressed when He actively took the form of a human and then gave up His own self-love for us.
Jesus chose love over power
Philippians 2:5-8 (KJV)
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus: who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Jesus did what you and I could not do for ourselves. When we choose to love our Creator more than we love self, we accept Jesus’ death on the cross as our death. In doing so, we state that we love our Creator more than we love our self. When we do that, we have loved the way our Creator has loved us. He then makes His abode with us.
Back to the humanist
The humanist refuses to acknowledge that he has rebelled against his Creator. Therefore, he does not acknowledge his sin or need of a redeemer. It is not that the Creator hates the humanist but that the humanist hates the Creator. Because the Creator has empowered the humanist with free will, the Creator will not force him to live with Him eternally. There is therefore only one alternative for his eternal existence, and that is hell. Hell was not prepared for humans, but it is the only other place where rebels can live eternally apart from their Creator.
Pride is the sin of the humanist, just as pride was the motivation of the original fallen angel, Lucifer. It is not the Creators desire that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But He will not force His desire on His highest creation.
Humanism is rebellion
The humanist has chosen to rebel. In that rebellion he rejects the highest expression of love ever made. The Creator laid down His own life to save the life of His rebellious creation. Yet, He loves them even when they reject Him.
There is a war going on. If you believe evolution science fiction you will probably choose to remain in rebellion against your Creator. Those who trust the imaginary science of evolution and big bang will believe any lie told to them by any liar. These liars include not only scientists(not all), but professors, politicians, socialists, capitalists, environmentalists, communists, etc.
Source of Truth
There is only one source of the truth and that is the Word of God, which we find in the Bible.
No matter how many facts may be presented, if you do not believe the Truth of God’s word, you will not be convinced. Truth begins with the source of truth. Jesus put it this way: I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Me.
So, begin your search for truth by going to the source. That source is the word of God, the Bible.
